House Rebirth

Also that weekend Grant took some long screws and shored up our formerly squeaky stairs to a point they don't even creak anymore. 

Grant was a machine while he was out working finishing the bathroom and entryway. So much happened it became extremely difficult to document or log. Sufficed to say we are now well equipped with tools and materials to work on the house and the downstairs shower is no more. The re-certified DeWalt tools have already paid for themselves and its nice to have power tools to call our own. Its also been awesome having family out.

After about a week Delinda, Grant , and Grandma Joyce went back to Iowa but Becky stayed for another week. We bombed around town a bit between work and gig's with ASOT. We tried a bunch of new restaurants and a good time was had by all. One big event that happened while Becky was out is Amanda and I got a puppy. Meet Chloe....

She has taken a lot of our attention and is another big contributor to why this blog has sat for so long.

After Becky went home, my parents came out for the 4th of July. They did so much work on the landscaping around while we were at work that we didn't even recognize the place when we got home. Also between gigs and practices we got out to see some downtown. The supreme court and the newseum more specifically. The house has been a blur this last month like I say but we did with the help of both families get the Pink bathroom redone into a much nicer place.
